About Academy of Salon and Spa

The campus of Academy of Salon & Spa is owned by Mellie's Inc. which is owned and operated by Alan & Trish Anderson.  

The desire of the Anderson's is to provide each student with the best education to help them acheive their goals in the field of cosmetology.  The campus of Academy of Salon & Spa is ever evolving as it has been for the past 50 plus years. 

The staff has more than 80 years of accumulated experience in the cosmetology industry.  We take great pride in offering the best and most up to date education in the River Valley. 

The Academy is licensed by the Arkansas Department of Health, Cosmetology Section and accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts & Sciences, Inc. and eligible to participate in Title IV financial aid programs provided by The U.S. Department of Education.
